Job Description
In a team setting, apply extensive knowledge in the application of advanced theories in naval architecture and ocean engineering and utilize industry standard software such as WAMIT, AQWA, SESAM, ANSYS and MATLAB.  Conduct hydrodynamic analyses in the conceptual engineering and detailed design of offshore floating systems, including FPSO hull, mooring, risers, topsides, subsea and pipeline components, buoy structures and marine appurtenances.  Perform complex engineering tasks, including global performance analyses, time domain simulation, strength/fatigue analysis, design wave calculations, frequency/time motion analysis and loadmapping calculations.  Keep abreast of new scientific methods and developments affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in emphasis of programs or new programs warranted by such developments.  Review the work of junior level engineers or specialists.  Achieve quality results within budget and schedule limitations. Assist in the development of HSE guidelines. 

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering and 7 years (84 months) of relevant post-baccalaureate progressively responsible offshore floating systems engineering experience, including hydrodynamic analyses.

***Alternate Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering and 2 years (24 months) of relevant offshore floating systems engineering experience, including hydrodynamic analyses.
